German = Beer + Castles


German attractions are mainly beer and castles. Below are lists of castles and also beer breweries.

First is Castles. There are plenty of castles waiting to be visit.

 Heidelberg Castle is also one of the cheapest castles to visit in Germany as admission price cost just $5, and that includes a guided tour of the palace.

 Neuschwanstein Castle is located in Schwangau (near the border with Austria), and it’s the most visited castle in Germany. A guided tour of Neuschwanstein Castle cost around $15 (11 Euros) and it’s offered in both German and English throughout the day.

Wartburg Castle is located in Eisenach (near the city of Erfurt), and it’s one of the best castles to visit in Germany as it boasts an amazing museum with hundreds of exhibits and collections which will give you an idea about German customs and traditions during the Middle Ages.

 Eltz Castle is located in Munstermaifeld (near the city of Koblenz) and it’s easily one of the prettiest and best preserved castles in Germany. You can get a tour of Eltz Castle for around $12 (8 Euros) and visit the different rooms such as the Treasure Vault, which is filled with paintings, statues, crossbows, porcelain and silver goods and the renowned Prince Elector's ring.

Second is Beer Breweries. There are hundreds of beer breweries in German and below are some of the best breweries.

Erdinger Brewery is located in the town of Erding, which is around 30 minutes drive from Munich. If you’re a fan of wheat beer, Erdinger is one of the best wheat beer producing breweries in Germany.

 Weihenstephan Abbey Brewery is the oldest brewery in Germany, and one of the most popular breweries in the region of Bavaria.

Andechs Abbey Brewery is located in Andechs (nearby Munich) and one of the most popular places in Germany for enjoying beer tastings.
Beck's Brewery is located in Bremen and it’s another great German brewery where you can learn a lot about the art of beer brewing and taste different types of beers.

Third is Oktoberfest
Oktoberfest is one of the most popular events of the year in Germany, and it is held in Munich every year between the last week of September and the first week of October for 16 days. Many people certainly visit Oktoberfest for the beer, but there is so much more to Oktoberfest such as sampling delicious food, soaking the jubilant singing atmosphere and seeing men and women dressed in Dirndl and Lederhosen, traditional Bavarian clothing (pictured).

Fourth is Black Forest

The Black Forest is undoubtedly, one of the top tourist attractions in Germany and one of the most popular tourist destinations in the country.
